About Our Adapted and Affordable Housing

At Logement HAN, we offer thoughtfully adapted, affordable housing that promotes autonomy, dignity, and safety in an inclusive community setting.

Each of our units is designed with over 55 architectural adaptations to simplify daily life and support independence, including:

  • Interior layouts designed to meet universal accessibility standards
  • Threshold-free entries for seamless mobility
  • Wider doorways and hallways for ease of movement, with or without mobility aids
  • Adapted lighting to enhance visibility and comfort
  • Lowered windows to ensure clear views while seated
  • Accessible light switches placed at a convenient height
  • Proximity to essential services for greater autonomy
  • Every detail is purposefully designed to foster well-being, independence, and community integration.

Our housing is also financially accessible. Thanks to the Rent Supplement Program, eligible tenants pay rent equivalent to just 25% of their income, helping them live comfortably without financial strain.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Be a Canadian citizen residing in Quebec
  • Have a recognized disability (physical, intellectual, or autism spectrum disorder) and be able to live independently
  • Have an income below the maximum threshold set by the Société d’habitation du Québec (SHQ). See the thresholds
  • Have total assets below $75,000
  • If needed, have an Individualized Service Plan (ISP) and a designated case manager

Steps to Apply for Adapted and Affordable Housing

    Contact us

    Submit a request using the form below to receive the documents and application forms from our customer service team.

  2. 02

    Fill out and submit

    Fill out the documents and return them with the required supporting information to our customer service department.

  3. 03

    Evaluation

    Your application will be reviewed by an independent selection committee within 60 to 90 days. You will then be notified of the decision.

  4. 04

    Unit offer

    If your application is accepted, we will contact you as soon as a unit that meets your needs becomes available.

  5. 05

    Annual update

    We update our applicant list every year based on any changes you report to us in your file.
